Book Launch : Nuptial Knots

Dear Blog Readers,

I launched my first book, ‘Nuptial Knots’ today afternoon at the Depot Book Store, Cosmos Mall, Brookefields, Bangalore.

Each chapter a gripping plot, I have kept the style, conversational, and very ‘relate-able’. I am sure you will enjoy the 6 chapters which tell an engaging story, each, about a different couple and the nuptial knots they are entangled in.

My dear friends attended the launch, and made me feel very special about this. The book will be available at all Depot stores from this week onwards. Here is some feedback that has flowed in so far:

‘You are an out & out story-teller endowed with an amazing ability to capture your thoughts in a book that is conversational yet deep. ‘Nuptial Knots’ is a MUST read book I would highly recommend to anyone however long they are married. The advice given is very practical & the style in which the stories are woven in beautifully is very engrossing.
Can’t wait to read the next one….’ : Samantha

” It was a truely entertaining book. I hard a hard time to put it down to even take a p@@ break. Each snippet has a meaningful story to tell and the messages are something a newly wed married girl or guy can relate to. I felt that these stories actually reflect the state of Indian marriages of couples of our generation. Kudos Rachna, I have already started passing my copy of the book to my Kiwi friends for a read” – Aanchal

“Hey Rach, Nuptial knots was a good read. found time yesterday and got so engrossed that i finish reading it. Carry on the wonderful writing, god has blessed you with wisdom ,wit and humour.there were so many thoughtful snippets that i will treasure and put to use in my life.Thankyou” – Sandhya

“The quotes are amazing. I have copied some in my diary…” Anju

Girl, This is the 2nd book I finished reading in a single sitting after DaVinci Code. It is a nice read. There is more ‘advice’ for girls in it. Does it mean
    1. The book is ment primarily for girls
    2. It is based on experiences of girls
    3. Girls are the primary cause in the matter and need to make more adjustments…

Thanks, Deepak – I am so happy! As for your queries, yes, some chapters are slightly more from a girl’s perspective, for reason 2!! Certainly not 3 :-) But, men should find it as useful since despite not being the main protagonist in some stories, they do hold a lot of accountability for the knots!!

Rachna – cool book. I remember the Eve’s Weekly/Women’s Era of old which tended to push the onus on the girl to ‘get it right’…whereas Femina pushed it the other way.
This sort of balances in the middle (as with the times, I guess).
Like we spoke yesterday, so many of your comments are philosophical ion nature, which caters to both your personal as well as professional life!
    Good going….
